Biographical.

   You might wonder who created this web page.   The answer lies below.

   The answer is: Myself, 'David Paul Fulmer'.   I am profoundly deaf, being diagnosed as such by Doctors at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the age of five months.   My main method of communication is American Sign Language (ASL).   I feel comfortable communicating with hearing people who do not know sign language, and my method of communication to hearing people is by note writing and gestures both of which I feel I am proficient. Also other communication aids that I am proficient with are computer word processors, computer notepads, Internet services such as instant messenger, computer-telephone paging services and telephone TTY services.

David's biography   I was born and raised in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, which is about ten miles northeast of Pittsburgh.   For my elementary education, kindergarten through the sixth grade, I was mainstreamed into the public school system.   The Allegheny County Intermediate Unit for Special Education assigned me to Dible Elementary School in Penn Hills School District.   The Intermediate Unit then assigned me to Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf for my seventh grade through twelfth grade year, graduating in May of 1996.   I then enrolled in Community College of Allegheny County, Boyce Campus, located in Monroeville, Pennsylvania and received an associate's degree in Computer and Information Science, August of 1999.   Then, I transferred and enrolled to Rochester Institute of Technology located in Rochester, New York and received a bachelor's degree in Information Technology in February of 2004.   My two major concentrations in Information Technology are web developer and programming.

    Currently, my job position is Business System Analyst in the department of Corporate Information Security at Mellon Financial Corporation located in the headquarters of downtown Pittsburgh.   I am also a freelance web programmer in my spare time.   My interests are doing some projects include web log, learning various web programming language such as AJAX, PHP, and SQL.

    When I am not working, I like to get in shape with sports activities, like to discuss about sports, global technologies and video gaming, and tend to have social deaf gathering.
