Old Advertisments showing TDD?

computerads-7.jpg

Everyone in Deaf culture would imagine this old advertisement magazine page display the machine: TDD (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf), and I hardly press myself this machine is not really TDD because it doesn't say anything about Deaf-related. I am going to pass this on humor of the day.

Miracle Mile Shopping Center sign

CONGRATULATIONS STEELERES SUPER BOWL XL CHAMPIONS. Steeleres? Now that's funny. They got the spelling correctly: "Congratulations". This word is longer than the Pittsburgh NFL football team name.

On the other back side of the signboard, they spelled STEELERS.

This sign is located on Miracle Mile Shopping Center near crowded Route 22 traffic in Monroeville, PA.

Foil Cube

Holy cow. It could be in my cube at my work. Nah, just kidding - I wish it could happen. We did some few pranks only in good reason (not mischievous) at our work. It could be much enjoy to have fun and make us laugh out loud all day.

When I was college student that time, I remember I heard the story of the college intern cookin' tons of popcorn and pour all of them into boss' office to fill'em up while he was on one-week vacation.

If you do something stupid pranks at work, you'll get very risky to lose your job and don't do anything stupid.

Good Memories by using Picasa

Picasa 2, created by Google. Picasa of PC does what iPhoto of Mac. Picasa organizes my entire picture collection. Move and re-name pictures. Use labels to group photos. Add ratings. Add one picture in multiple albums without duplicating the picture on the hard drive. Add passwords to any photo collection. Create slideshows, burn backups. I think I like it.

First of all, I installed and start using Picasa for first time, and it uses Google engine to search the entire images (.jpg and .gif) in my hard drive. Interesting, I had over 400 general folders that have pictures. I didn’t know most of picture left dust on the folder that I have forgotten for long time, and it’s about my time to clean it up to organize.

Here are some hilarious images I selected and posted in my entry by clicking below:

2004 Home Computer

The caption says:
Scientists from the RAND Corporation have created this model to illustrate how a "home computer" could look like in the year 2004. However the needed technology will not be economically feasible for the average home. Also the scientists readily admit that the computer will require not yet invented technology to actually work, but 50 years from now scientific progress is expected to solve these problems. With teletype interface and the Fortran language, the computer will be easy to use and only....
Yeah, right...
