Old Advertisments showing TDD?

Everyone in Deaf culture would imagine this old advertisement magazine page display the machine: TDD (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf), and I hardly press myself this machine is not really TDD because it doesn't say anything about Deaf-related. I am going to pass this on humor of the day.

Broadband taxation issues could surface in 2009 and the costs could make it out of deaf people's reach. Hang onto the old TTY's.
