R. Hawkins, a friend showed me the link - Internet Archive. This site excerpt:
The Internet Archive is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, we provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, and the general public.
I find myself that I remember of seeing this site and not interested to check this during my college times. I decided to dig this site to find my past personal web site, by using www.dfulmer.net and interesting, this domain name was used in 2001 from different person. I purchased this domain in May 2003 and currently actively ever since (you are in my site right now).
Another interesting, I looked back my college, RIT web site and you might notice differences of my style design between past and today.
I found the wonderful article, The Internet Archive: An End to the Digital Dark Age, describe the collection of educational content including coursework, study guides, exercises, and recorded lectures. Talk about education. Amazing, they contains more than 100 terabytes of data.
The biggest disadvantage: this site has several limitations - keyboard search is not currently supported, the loading in this web is terribly slow and not all web pages archives are duplicates and missing.
Overall, I find myself the most useful for looking back the web site changes for some kind of the research.
