I learned the board members of Alumni Association of Western Pennsylvania School f/t Deaf (WPSD) voted me the 2005 Alumni of the Year appreciation award few months ago. On Thursday, June 9th, WPSD invited me the pre-graduation banquet dinner in their campus, and gave me the award. I am very delightful with this accolade.
I gave a short speech about my award: I gave a biggest thanks to James DeBee, chose me to start working our Alumni website a year ago. If this never happened, I would not be here at WPSD pre-graduation dinner banquet.
Why I earned Alumni of the Year award? Because of, I worked harder on their organization to improve the network. Without me, the organization of Alumni will be dull, old fashioned network and young people would not be interested into this.
