Clicky Puzzle Game

UPDATE: Fixed few bad links in this entry.

crimsonroom.gifAn year ago, my old roommate asked me to try the puzzle game, Crimson Room. What's in the game? The mission goal: Get out of the room from being locked in. The game just point-and-click to scout around inside the room, look and find the items, collect them and try to figure it to put these together to solve to escape the room.

We were hooked with this, and we shared the hints what we were stuck in middle of the game. We barely made it out of the room, and we really enjoyed that puzzle game, and we learned that Toshimitsu Takaqi, the creator of Crimson Room is developing the new room, the sequel to Crimison Room. We have waited for that and forgotten that in few months later.

Until yesterday, my old classmate from RIT asked me if I played Crimson Room the game before. I was told yes that I remember very little, but I can't remember everything what I am in the game because it has been a year ago. I gave her some very little tips and she got out of the room. Until she told me that there is another room, called Viridian Room, the sequel of Crimson Room. We played this game at same time, yet shared us through AOL Instant Messenger for finding the clues and tips, and we got out of Viridian room, in half-hour.

We really enjoyed this game, and she was hoping there might be another clicky puzzle room game by Toshimitsu, but it looks like there are none. Meanwhile, I went to Jay Is blog site - it is one of best blog game review site I ever seen. He has collection of links for web-based games on his blog site. There are over 100 unique games and clone games (such as Pac Man, Duck Hunt and Lemmings) you might find this one in there. Yet again, there is another clone point-and-click game in his blog entry: Escape: The Room. I haven't play this game, and I'm going to try this sometime later.

Enjoy while it last!
