Secret Nintendo Revolution Controller

Few weeks ago in pre-E3 conference, Nintendo has revealed the little information the next-generation system, the successor to the GameCube, codenamed Revolution. Yet, Nintendo did not reveal the official console name, its technical specs, final system design and the controller.

Also, I read Shigeru Miyamoto interview with IGN about Revolution controller, and what he has said about the controller:

IGNcube: We're all assuming that the revolutionary aspect of Revolution is the controller. Do you know what the Revolution is yet or are you still trying to figure that out?

Shigeru Miyamoto: [Laughs] You're doubting me, aren't you? I can see that you're over there mistrusting my word. I understand. [Laughs]

Of course. It's set in stone. It has been determined. I'd love to show it to you. I'd love to be able to show you the features of the Revolution controller and tell you about them. However, unfortunately if we do that too early those ideas would be stolen. We know that from past history. Analog stick. Boom - gone. Rumble Pak. We bring it out and everybody has to have rumble. We got the wireless out first and now there's wireless everywhere. So we have to keep it under wraps.

Nintendo is doing smart thing to keep it secretly, and I am sure they will reveal the controller later this year. I am 100% sure Nintendo can't rid of traditional D-Pad, analog pad/button, two shoulder buttons and A/B/Start buttons. They will have internal rumble, and wireless. The rest is what I am wondering how the controller looks like - will it be touching pad just like what Nintendo did to DS? It kept wondering myself for long time what it looks like.

secret-controller.gifTwo days ago, I purchased Wario Ware: Twisted, the third installment of Wario Ware series behind Gameboy Advance (GBA) and Nintendo DS. This game is incredible fun, and it has newest innovate: motion-sensing control or gyroscopic sensor. That detects when the system is being rotated clockwise or counterclockwise. Also this game coupled with this sensor is a rumble-style motor that enables the rumble when you move the GBA. I am very impressed with this functionally, there are least 200 mini games which have different way to use physic of gyroscopic sensor function (sensitive, easy/hard, smooth/rough, opposite direction, etc.) by using gyroscopic sensor. One time I used a mini game, a car to dodge away from falling rocks by using gyroscopic sensor. It felt me like I am steering a car left or right very smoothly by using GBA handheld in air. Again to say myself, I'm impressed.

I came up in my mind about gyroscopic sensor which possibly be include with Nintendo Revolution controller. My guess is Nintendo might use gyroscopic sensor to experiment with several mini games and its functions in Wario Ware Twisted and use this sensor into Revolution controller. Imagine this, use this controller to steering a kart clockwise or counterclockwise in Mario Kart driving game. It could be incredibly smooth to control the function like you're drive in real kart.
