Today is Super Bowl, I felt this is like globally national holiday. My deaf friend invites me to go Super Bowl party at her husband's own bar in North Side, near north from downtown Pittsburgh. I decide to make something goodies for dishes to bring at the party to make everybody happy from me.
Today I made chocolate dipped strawberry, this is my first time to make. After done making this, I tried a bite of this, and it was totally delicious, totally Super Bowl orgasm.
I'm going to share you the recipe:
CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES6 ounce bag of milk chocolate morsels
4 tablespoons of shortening (or butter)
12 large strawberriesWash and dry strawberries. In a double boiler, melt chocolate; add shortening and mix well. Place waxed paper on a cookie sheet close to the chocolate. Cut the strawberry into half, or into 1/3 depends on size. Hold the strawberry by the stem and carefully dip into the melted chocolate; place on cookie sheet and repeat till strawberries and chocolate are gone. Put the tray of berries in the refrigerator to harden. Take strawberries out of the fridge at least 1/2 hour before serving.
