USFFD

I volunteered with Greater Pittsburgh Community Center f/t Deaf (GPCCD) as photographer staff in 19th Annual United States Flag Football f/t Deaf (USFFD) in Boyce Park, Monroeville, Pennsylvania. The good thing about me, this place is about five minutes to drive away from my home.

During the weekend events at USFFD, I spend more time from dawn to dusk taking pictures of 41 teams at USFFD tournament, Pittsburgh Association f/t Deaf club, and USFFD & DPHH in Hard Rock Café.

Around more than 400 deaf flag football players, fans and volunteers from Texas, Illinois, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Florida, Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota, Arizona and Washington, D.C. attended in Boyce Park to play USFFD Men and Women's 4x4 and 8x8 for two days (Saturday and Sunday) tournament. I do believe there were over 400 deaf people came to my hometown; which was the most numerous of deaf people in town of Monroeville history.

Oh by the anyway, who are the champions in 19th annual USFFD?
Men's 4x4 - Pittsburgh River Rats
Men's 8x8 - Washington Aerial Attack
Women's 4x4 - Phoenix Gecko Girlz
Women's 8x8 - Chicago Windy City Gals

Congratulations to Pittsburgh River Rats, Pittsburgh is the first city team to win in 19-year history at USFFD.

Also, one more thing about the images above: I was surfing Mandarin Design blog, I found the nice 'CSS Filmstrip Frame Border' which I could use HTML, CSS and PHP (loops), to create the white box just like 'negative film'. I tested these in my blog, and I notice this have some problems & glitches in browser due to external CSS class for DIV tag.

To solve this problem: Instead of using CSS & HTML style, I made a graphics for using .jpg format to get this done in short time.
