Kennywood four roller coasters

My favorite pastime, going amusement park around the United States. Kennywood, my home amusement park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Kennywood is one of very traditional park in the world, they have four most important roller coasters, are currently operating today.

Racer - There are only three single-track racing coasters in the world, and Racer is one of them. When racers leave the left side of the station, they arrive back on the right side, and vice versa. I guess you could call it a "Moebius Loop." Racer was designed by the great John A. Miller and built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company in 1927. It is 72 feet tall and 2,250 feet long.

Jack Rabbit - The American Coaster Enthusiasts have named 38 coasters "ACE Coaster Classics," and Jack Rabbit is one of them. Jack Rabbit features an intense double dip for providing superb airtime along with neat fixed lap bars in the old trains! This coaster was also built by John Miller in 1921.

Thunderbolt – The first track coaster, Pippin opened in 1924. It was built by John Miller. In 1968, Andrew Vettel rebuilt the ride and created the turns around the waiting cue. The most amazing thing about Thunderbolt is the longest drop is the LAST one before exiting the station! Historically, several editors and critics noted that Thunderbolt is one of best wooden coaster for a long time.

Phantom’s Revenge – This is very unusual steel coaster. It started in 1991 as Steel Phantom, which was built by Arrow Dynamics. In 2001, Morgan Manufacturing built Phantom’s Revenge. It kept the original station, the 157 feet of lift hill, and the second hill. The new Phantom Revenge add during the drop of second hill, the train reached 82 miles per hour, the 7th most tied in the list for fastest coaster in the world and 228 feet drop, the 7th most tied for greatest drop in the world thanks to advantage of hills.
